About Alison Jones

I’m Alison,  from Yorktown, Virginia. I am an independent mark. representative, campus sales manager at George Mason University, and was just selected to work in NYC this summer as a mark. intern!

Needless to say, I love mark. and everything I have done with the company. I’ve learned so much about entrepreneurship, event planning, and makeup application since becoming a mark representative and it’s definitely more fun than sitting in a classroom!!

I love mark. for a million reasons. But here are just a few:

1. What mark. stands for: Empowering young women, like myself, to follow their dreams, raise funds for causes we believe in, become business savvy and make our mark on the world. I never even imagined that mark. would turn into such a positive influence in my life. Curiousity led me to become a rep and now I feel that I’m on my way to making my mark!

2. The Products: Great quality makeup that editors love at a very affordable price. It is the perfect option for college aged girls who can’t afford to drop $25 on a tube of mascara. In my blog, I will be having Slurge vs. Steal articles featuring my favorite mark products!

3. Social Beauty: Mark believes that selling shouldn’t be a door-to-door activity. Social beauty is mark’s term for the relationships that can be built off of a common interest in fashion and beauty. This is why one of the best things to do is have a mark. party! Get a bunch of your girls together and host one! It’s easy, and SO much fun!

4. Commitment to Philanthropy: Got a cause you believe in? Raise money for that cause with mark. fundraising .
